Two teams playing good football,WBA very strong,in control and very physical. Saints skilled with a never give up attitude.Both teams would have been a match for a lot of teams now playing in the premiership,their skill and attitude was brilliant.No falling about,rolling on the ground, both teams were a credit to the game. Sorry Gumps,have to disagree with that. I thought, while not awful performance yet again we had the chance to go for it after that 1st goal but continued with the tippy tappy pass side and backwards football.
West Brom picked up on that and really went for us in the 2nd half and will have gone home agrieved with nothing.
It was basically Championship football from both sides and both would struggle right now in the Prem, but as you say, maybe it is more enjoyable in this league without the VAR |  | | |
