Galbraith operates at his best in midfield. This is the second game in a row he has filled in at right back with two right backs on the bench.

Possible that he's looking at it as a way to get his better players into the team rather than picking the best players to suit the team.

Can't argue with his results even if most would agree that we may be better off doing it differently.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

To put Galbraith back into midfield who would we drop from Stamenic/Fulton, Widell or Franco as all offer something different.

When we signed them all in the first place I was hoping for a bit of rotation.

Of them all the most irreplaceable at the moment is arguably Widell just because he's a midfielder who plays mostly on the front foot and I'm not sure any of the others can do that. Franco maybe.

Having that extra bit of attacking intent in the middle instead of playing three basically interchangeable CM's has been a big factor in our improvement IMO.

Franco's closing down is very good as is Widell's it a nice dilemma to be in.

I know quite a few, all decent people, feel for them, they have been shafted by the venkys.

It isnt looking good for them.

I can understand the despair
We've been there, so as long as we finish above them I wish them well

It's not just the pressing. It's what he does when he has the ball. That momentum shift between being proactive and reactive.

We did it a lot better against Brum than we did last night, but it's massively important that we've got at least one midfielder who wants to drive play forward.

I think we were a bit jaded last night. We played at 100mph versus Birmingham, hopefully we will recover for Hill. I noticed Matos was constantly encouraging the back line to move up the pitch last night in the first half. Maybe he's learning that the games come so quickly in the Championship that you need to be disciplined in where and how you press, there were less headless chickens chasing around last night.

Just hope we are not puting the onus on Galbraith to try and do too much in the wrong places, in the past individual have been singled out by opposition teams. Grime is an example when Platino and Paterson played alongside him our progression up the pitch was better by virtue of more creative players offering themselves for the ball so space was created, I appreciate that that trio were somewhat lacking in defensive strength. But we have seen the likes of Ntcham and Celina getting caught on the ball in the wrong area of the pitch too deep. We must ensure we can relieve pressure correctly when teams come at us. What was nice recently is that we are being more precise as to where our clearances are being played.
Every player makes mistakes team work is about being able to cover those mistake so our individual mistake are not punished.
