Sent to Coventry (hopefully not again) QPR vs Coventry Match Thread 09:48 - Jan 30 with 42983 viewsSpaceman_P

Duty calls and the fans have pleaded.

If Ronnie is on the pitch we've got this given Cov's own dip im form.

Heart says 2-1

Brain says 1-2

Personally would take a 0 - 0.

No sky blue feelings, we had that last weekend.

I'm guessing the fact than Bennie has come on rather than Koki Saito suggests Saito doesn't have many minutes in him yet

Yup but I would have preferred Saito coming on now, Smyth moving to the right, Bennie coming on when Saito is spent.

Sints has sat down and Tyler’s gone for coffees and a chat with Jules.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Gary Lineker is at the game. Backup to Kone next week I reckon

Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?

Cov’s keeper looking for spin as he bowls into the roughed up foot marks.

Let's bowl him our Googly 😁

Smyth’s much better at getting fouled these days -🐔

Elbow in the back deserved a yellow card I thought

I like Smyth but this constant looking for the foul gets on my nerves. Just shoot man.

Ref could tell he was looking for that from the second he picked up the ball. Not for me, I'd be furious if that had been given at the other end

All in all that was a pretty impressive first half from us. Seeing we have a cobbled together with a CH at FB a thrown together front line........I personally thought we were the better team, and definitely had the best chance. Didn't realise the keeper got finger tips to that here at the ground but what a save

We really do look solid in both defence and midfield, whatever we think of JS he as got us organised there.

Thought Kone was superb up to leading the line, and he is giving those CBs a torrid time. Hayden and Madsen really is starting to develop into a decent partnership in midfield.

The defence again is very solid.........Cook wins absolutely every header.

The substitution really put us back there, and for me that was a surprising change....Bennie may be a lot of things but a right winger?

Ronnie is giving a decent fist of RB back he is going to have a lot to do against Esse....

So the big question for me is can we keep this up for another 45 mins

Decent first half performance that

Kone’s been excellent, he’s so much better playing right up front

My biggest worry is we've used our decent half for a 0-0.

Unfortunately we never seem to get a full decent performance, and like Wrexham last week, you'd suspect Coventry won't be as bad.

The pitch don't look great all ready.

My spy in the Directors’ Box reports that was Cov. Chairman’s first observation

That would happen against us with most of the refs…..

Struggle to understand why he doesn't use Saito as the sub for Dembele. Play him left side, Smyth right. But he uses Bennie.

Pretty good with only 35% possession.

Far better than the away game !

Yep. We are playing to our utmost...they probably have plenty left in the tank. We are very brittle in second halves of games at LR - so let's change that today 🙂
