There was bad news for the Swans this morning with the discovery that there had been a break in at the Vetch last night - costing the club some irreplaceable items from it's history.
Thieves broke into the centre stand and into the VIP area taking some signed shirts that can never be replaced including some donated by the likes of Steaua Bucharest and also the shirt that has been proudly on display as a momento to the Autoglass win in 1994.
The club will appeal via tomorrow night's Evening Post for the thieves to return these items stating that part of the club's history has now been removed and unless returned lost forever. Supporters are also asked to make it known if they see any of these items for sale or indeed are offered them.
