McCormack's amazing training ground appeal tweet!
Tuesday, 13th May 2014 18:23

Leeds skipper Ross McCormack has taken to twitter to appeal for somewhere to train ahead of Scorland's friendly with Nigeria at Craven Cottage on May 28th.

Our 29-goal-man is set to earn his 11th cap at Fulham's ground a fortnight on Wednesday, however he is clearly struggling to find somewhere to build up his pre-match fitness taking to twitter on Tuesday tea time to tweet:

"Looking for somewhere to train before Scotland game with a Decent surface since training grounds closed for the summer."

Whether or not this was a sly dig at new owner Massimo Cellino's decision to mothball Thorp Arch remains to be seen, but McCormack probably wasn't wise to use social media to highlight his plight and made his arrangements in private.

Unfortunately it will fuel speculation that McCormack will leave Leeds in the summer, despite on,y agreeing a new four-year-deal last August. Since then he has spoken of wanting to agree a new deal with the club and his desire to play in the Premiership sooner rather than later. Five clubs West Ham, Leicester, Derby, Cardiff and now Spanish side Malaga are keen to sign him according to reports.
