Luton forward Dean Morgan says he is coming to Leeds, via Southend.

Dean Morgan has announced he is ready to join Leeds!

In another quirky move, where we sign a player who has been on-loan to another club, Morgan will sign from parent club Luton - having been at Southend since November.

He told the Shrimpers official website ""Leeds have agreed a fee with Luton and I should be agreeing personal terms on Monday."

Morgan joined Southend in November and has managed two goals in eight starts, both goals coming in what was his swansong on Saturday in Southend's 5-2 FA Cup win over Dagenham and Redbridge.

He missed a penalty for Luton in the dying seconds of last April's championship clash, in which Leeds won 1-0.

On Saturday, Dennis Wise confirmed that utility midfielder Peter Sweeney is set to arrive (from Stoke but having been on-loan to Walsall!). The 23-year-old is known by Dennis Wise from his Millwall days and will undergo a medical.

And Leeds are still waiting for a response from Northampton winger Bradley Johnson having agreed a fee with the Cobblers, although it is thought that other clubs are chasing the 20-year-old.

Wise has already signed Sebastien Sorsa and Neil Kilkenny, the latter earning the man-of-the-match award for his performance against Northampton on Saturday!

The official leeds website has also confirmed an interest in Hull defender Damian Delaney.

But reports linking Danny Mills with a shock return to Elland Road last week were wide off the mark. Mills has joined Premiership no-hopers Derby on-loan, according to the Manchester City website.
