Humble? grounded? Nah a manager chuffed to bits that his team got the three points just like the home fans in the ground, bouncing to see the points in the bag, seeing us being competitive again, we know we aren't going to win every game or be in control for 90mins and we know that there are a lot of unexperienced players finding their feet and players whose confidence have been shot from a number of years of being on the back foot, nice to see us coming out on top of games again. Opposition managers will look at Matos's team and will now be trying to figure out how to beat his set up and styles of play in the future , Matos happy to win.
He’s going to be the coach of a big club within five years He’s learning fast, he’s got it wrong before but yesterday was bang on Yesterday , it looked like we couldn’t seal the game by scoring another so he made the right subs and dug in And won

The substitutions we made yesterday with Tuesday in mind.
We don't normally take Vipotnik and Galbraith off if there is a week between games. Thats not opinion but a fact.
Fact is we disagree Galbraith is super fit and wasn’t flagging Ward is much bigger and was brought on to shore up defence Fact
Vipotnik is our only striker granted but he can’t always do the job on his own And on his own he was Another fact because few of his colleagues are capable of scoring
Anyway, back on topic, again, Matos has been a breath of fresh air and he has , on my opinion, real ability to coach and is learning Fact I was fearing , wrongly, he might not be He is
Ward did ok yesterday. The subs worked for whatever reason.
Fulton was an absolute warrior in midfield, despite his lack of pace at times. Took one for the team too.
I will add that Nunes went off around five minutes after the second half started. He didn’t complain nor did he make a fuss. For me he knew it may happen from the half time team talk. And for him to know means Matos has given him that info. He didn’t seem injured.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Nunes run himself into the ground in the first half. We remarked in the ground that either he's got an engine from Rolls Royce or he knows that he's being subbed early. For the benefit of any doubt, it was the latter!
