It's in relation to those running the club.

The cynical side of me says the restaurants made it all back in publicity.

And you don't think the players agents will pass that information on.

Apparently Williams has got the players back in next week for 3 days monitoring, any truth in this?

Leeds are due to pay over £70M in owed transfer fees by the end of June, with over £190M owed in total. Quite possibly some of the Piroe money is involved, dwarfing any Martin money owed.

You are right. In many small towns and villages life evolves around the local rugby club who organise social events, summer bbq's, firework displays ect often they are the hub of the community.

Apparently not in the neath valley you have to seek approval and justify your decision. Ridiculous.

You are 100% correct. The whole scheduling and television coverage of fixtures needs a complete overall. Even then personally it wouldn't tempt me to go. I only go on what Osprey and Scarlet supporting friends tell me, with their reasons for not attending so many games.

I tend to agree. If you work with someone for two years and form a friendship is see no problem with that continuing when one leaves. Clearly the ongoing issue is between Martin and the owners, not his former work colleagues. Possibly they have some sympathy towards him and the way he was treated.

Population has no relevance in regards support in rugby. Average attendances for season 22/23, this season is still in progress. Cardiff 7,719, Scarlets 7,375, Ospreys 5,800 and Dragons 5,100. Your argument about the Llanelli population not being large enough to support a rugby team is blown out of the water. Again don't let your dislike of something or an area cloud your judgment, you do make yourself look very silly.

Why would the Scarlets play in Wrexham when they have their own ground and their attendances are higher than the Ospreys, who play some matches in London. Its the Ospreys who need to sort themselves out and those are the words of season ticket holding mates who are not renewing until they do.

In a statement this afternoon, the force said it was dropping the probe. However, it added that 'council tax and personal tax do not fall into the jurisdiction of policing' and findings had been passed on to Stockport Council and HMRC.
