For anyone interested, this woman is giving evidence to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. Her character was a central role in the drama 'Mr Bates v The Post Office' and it should be a couple of very interesting days, particularly when she has to answer questions by the legal representatives of the sub Postmasters and Mistresses . Two of them are real rottweilers. If you don't already know, you can watch the proceedings live via the Inquiry's website which has a YouTube link. |

It has been reported that there are currently 7 MPs being investigated by the Commons standards authority. It's no wonder voters are so cynical and, as a consequence are failing to turn out at elections. Not good for the democratic process though. |

I understand from BBC Sport that he has left the Club. Apparently he cannot agree a new contract. |

Another Lawmaker turned lawbreaker. Is it any wonder they do not have any respect. |

Having recently received a membership renewal notice and raffle tickets, both of which I have, with a heavy heart, chosen to ignore, I wonder what the membership numbers are now. It would be interesting to see a comparison pre deal with the owners and post. |

So, the (not really) publicity shy ex rugby player has hit the headlines again. |

So. Shell says it had "no alternative" than to buy Russian oil last Friday. Did it? [Post edited 6 Mar 2022 12:42]

Just seen that Phil Dwyer, ex Cardiff City & Wales, ex South Wales Police has passed away. I understand his footballing career was more successful than his policing career. Nevertheless, RIP.

So the woman who killed the 6 month old toddler in Llanelli through dangerous driving and being over the drink/drive limit receives a 4 year prison sentence. How ludicrous is that! For what in reality amounts to manslaughter. |

Perhaps not many of you will remember him. A Wolves stalwart and a non playing member of the 1966 England squad. |

Just watched a documentary on catch-up which was shown Wednesday evening. Now there's a tale of corruption and greed. A tale still to unfold. Also very moving. |

A veteran of the Arctic Convoys and D Day landings. Like many others a true hero. Why have they received so little recognition over the years compared to sportsmen, pop performers, politicians etc? Rhetorical question I suppose. |

I don't know if this has been a Thread before but I'll give it a go anyway. What is, in your opinion, the most flesh creeping piece of music you have ever heard? For me it is the last track on 'Abbey Road' (The Beatles) titled 'Her Majesty'. I think Macca was pitching for his knighthood at the time! |

Looks as though the UK esteemed Health Secretary is living up to the second part of his surname. Following his boss' high standards. |
