Do we not all want the same thing?
at 17:25 17 Feb 2026

I got called out for winging and to get behind the team before the Blackburn game for saying what I saw in JS approach to games. After Blackburn it was winge central on here. It hurt my feelings and wasn’t necessary. :)

So whole heartedly agree with Myke. Let’s agree to disagree sometimes.

I’m assuming that everyone is aware Steve Gallen is running the show behind the scenes at Millwall.

A football person who certainly knows this league and the players required.

Have we had our pants pulled down by agents (again)
at 22:00 14 Feb 2026

Anyone know anything about our recruitment.

These ex academy and ex premier league players not able to play at this level. Hayden,Vale and Varane for example is ridiculous and may attain to a deeper malaise about what is going on regarding player development in the UK. Our foreign recruitment looks a bit dodgy as well.

Is this the standard of footballer being produced today?

THOMAS FRANK SACKED...
at 13:21 11 Feb 2026

I think Frank is a good coach just in the wrong place. Pep is a big fan and he ain’t no mug when it comes to coaching and managing football teams wether you like him or not.

Is the manager really the problem at Spurs?

Personally I think it’s as simple as he just turns the ball over too many times for Artera to be comfortable with. Goals from Counter attacks in the Premier league are very
Successful. Arteta does seem very controlling as well.

Come on be honest. Who after that wonderful game beating the lead leaders thought we were going to witness that slop again. Personally I’m seeing a lot of excuses made for him rather than actually look at what he’s doing at away games. Let’s see how it develops.

Ps I do not have any part of my anatomy named after a beautiful and wonderful ex striker of ours.

To win a game you have to create chances.

Not have your Gk motm and ex-players missing chances who was replaced by league ones best striker who is in our half more then theirs.

I keep reading about attacking expansive play, being open.

Isn’t Football about defending as a team, attacking as a team and having a plan/strategy around transitions when the ball is won and the ball is lost. Kone is in our own half more than the other.

Averages and percentages attain that this can just as easily go the other way. Hope they don’t score is not a strategy.

Brentford today were brilliant at Newcastle, did all the above.

My point is these 0-0,s could have easily been defeats and the Norwich, Portsmouth and WBA games we’re abject and embarrassing performances . These 0-0,s inmo RESULTS are masking performances and a lack of any coherent plan or team identify.

It’s gonna bite him on the bum if he isn’t careful.

Look it’s not this player that player it’s how the team is set up.

These 0-0,s have more to do with the opossition being poor and not taking their chances then anything else. As performances go the last 5 away games have been devoid of any serious intent to go forward.

Personally comparing the manager to others we have and seeing JS as an improvement is a no brainer. If this lack of any ambition carry’s on questions might start being asked. He seems a very fearful football manager inmo.

Calling the Arsenal game boring and that game not is ridiculous. Any team that comes to LR and plays like we have been doing away gets plenty of grief and comments like I’m glad I don’t support/follow that team.

We are better then this so JS take the shackles off and let them play. That’s all.

Ps not convinced the players enjoy playing so restricted either.

Please stop kidding yourselves about who’s out there and who isn’t.
He would still set us up the way he did today regardless.

It’s a $hit football philosophy from an apparently cultured exponent of the game.

It’s barely watchable David Brent cringeworthy stuff ffs.

It does look like some players just going through the motions, ineffectual, lost interest etc.

Thing is would any of us enjoy playing in a team with instructions to play like this.

11 behind the ball clear it, ball comes back repeat, repeat repeat.

You’re telling me Charlton are a good side and putting us under pressure. Happy with 0-0, injuries.

This is dross served up by our manager.

Seems when they ignore him we start to play a bit.

Regarding Madsen,

Every scout who’s coming to watch him is primarily interested in seeing if he can play man marked or under pressure.

No use to any team if he can’t.

Going all Stainrod, surely this is not the strategy and philosophy from a cultured and very experienced football manager or is it?
