True. But Newcastle have made plain they don't want him. Chances are they WILL do a deal to end his contract. Wages are more of an issue. He said he had to take a pay cut to join us on loan. Whether he can accept £50k pw to <£10k is unlikely. |

Not for me. Given the choice, and assuming we could do deals acceptable to Newcastle and the player, I'd far rather take Hayden. 2 or 3 years younger. |

There was a guy who lived 10kms from me, another QPR supporter in 87. He's gone back to UK, now. So just me holding the Fort. I've had some fun this week with 2 x Leeds supporters. |

24 yo winger playing for Beerschot (great name) in Belgium. Had a spell with Stoke. Schalke and St Gilloise also interested. [Post edited 1 May 11:46]

As their U18s won the FA Youth Cup, there ought to be some real gems, most of whom will never meet PL standards. |

Sounds about right. Reproduce the form since Marti arrived and we'd be top half. But there's likely to be quite a bit of turnover of personnel. And we won't get the sane injury free run. Let's assess in August. |

All 3 seem to fit stated policy. To buy young, develop and sell on. Maybe 1 in 3 will work out. |

A couple of changes would be OK, wholesale changes not. Be useful to see if Walsh can cut it and worth offering follow up deal. I don't expect us to keep Begovic. Larkeche, Fox for Paal, JCS. I'd like to see EDB and Armstrong getting decent cameos from bench. |

There is as there ought to be a lot of work to be done before August. For me, we have to reduce the age of the side. Too many of the first team squad are in their 30s or approaching it. Even the main players are in their mid 20s. Only Armstrong, Larkeche, EDB, Kolli and Kelman are what I would call young. 11 players out of contract gives us a chance to update/refresh. And start building a quality squad that meets our supposed working model. I havent got many suggestions, although Asgaard at Wigan has always caught the eye. Greg Spires has done some decent analysis and, I hope Andy Belk and his team have as well. |

The last time we put in a performance like that was probably the week of QPR 10 South Wales 1 |

Most of the media coverage, before and after, has been about Leeds. No doubt they have been a big club and do have huge support, but it ignores how well we played. In Summerville, Gnonto, Rutter and Piroe, they have a prolific attacking threat. But none of them want to do any defensive work. We exploited that for Chair's goal. Yards of space to start with, ran 25m with no challenge, cut inside(as always?) and got a 20 yarder away with his right foot. Deflection helped but that was poor defending. Wasn't much better for the 2nd. Lucas should have been closed down quicker. As for the last 2, both scorers unmarked and Meslier could have done so much better. Good character triumphed over too much entitlement. |

So many candidates for MOTM. Chair got it from Sky. Field was excellent. Hard to ignore back 4 when 1 of the best attacks in the Championship prove so toothless. |

Come on, own up. Who saw that coming? Safe and secure. Now let's get contracts tied down for those we want to keep. And start looking around for those who can improve on the last 5 months. |

Great summary of the range of emotions "this stupid bloody football team" put us fans through. |

33 goals in 153 appearances in total. 5 goals this season. He"s 28 now. He's not going to get much better. That we agree on. If we could get back what we, allegedly, paid we'd snap their hand off. £3m is in the realms of fantasy., I'm afraid. |

If you think anybody is going to pay anywhere near £3m for Dykes, I'd find some weaker drugs. If you think a buying club from Scotland, except Celtic, are going to pay anywhere near that, then you need locking up for your own safety. |

Willock's old man may be holding out for a move that gives his son big wages, but I can't see who is going to give him significantly more than us. Perhaps, there is somebody. I suspect they'll both need to be more realistic about his earning potential. |

If we receive any bids for any of our players they will need to be carefully considered. There are very few who could command a decent fee. However, if we are to improve in key areas, keeper and striker, we're going to have to sell somebody for a sizeable amount. The only ones who might qualify are Chair, JCS, Arnstrong, Fiekd and Dykes. Chair has a court case hanging, Arnstrong is as raw as they come, Dykes hasnt delivered. Leaving Field and JCS. There have been rumours of interest in JCS, from a number of clubs.a bid over £5m would be accepted. |
