The only other way a long run in the competition wouldn't affect us is if the other teams around us all progress to at least the qtrs/semis too - so we'd all be in the same boat - although we've already got 2 or 3 extra games to fit in February/March. Also another thing is the Trophy final is after the play off final this season (not before it like last season). Not so bad if we did finish champions and then had bonus game at Wembley a few weeks later - not sure how popular 2 trips to Wembley would be on consecutive weekends? Solihull had it a couple of seasons ago and lost them both. |

I think the problems with the FA Trophy schedule is later in the competition. 3 rounds on National League fixture dates. 31st Jan we play Southend a, 28th Feb we play Aldershot a and 28th March we play Sutton a. Thats 3 long away trips rescheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday nights and potentially 3 tough FA Trophy fixtures (depending on the draw). |

Yes they even managed a 0-0 with the mighty Dale! |

I listened to the last 15 mins on Radio Cumbria. They subbed off Conn-Clarke near the end when they were looking for an equaliser. The natives were certainly restless - the boo's were very audible after every misplaced pass. |

The good news now is we are the next team out of the contenders to play on Friday 19th Dec so we can hopefully get our points on the board and they are all playing catch up on the Saturday. |

I love it when a plan comes together 😉 |

Unfortunate fixture for us tonight in that we will most probably lose our top spot without being able to do anything about it until we play Altrincham on 19th December. We will have 3 games in hand over Carlisle after tonight so its still very much in our own hands - it is nice to see us top of the league though! |

We are also losing Allarakhia to Afcon. |

Worryingly too now we have injuries to 3 of our best starting X1 in Whatmuff, Beckwith and Rodney. Beckwith's didn't sound good going off Jim. Said he had a lot of swelling already (presume its his knee the way he was helped off the pitch). If its his ACL then that's it for the season. Whatmuff hopefully should be back early new year but not sure about Rodney? Jim said it was a muscle injury he picked up last week (after resting him at Tamworth so he didn't pick up a muscle injury on their 4g pitch!) - just goes to show you cant pick and choose games protecting from injuries trying to be clever - they can happen anytime. |

Eastleigh v Scunthorpe abandoned in injury time at 1-1 was ordered to be replayed. Scunthorpe v Wealdstone abandoned in 78th minute at 2-1 was awarded as a win and 3 points to Scunthorpe. Slightly different circumstances to yesterday though so I'd expect the league to order a replay for our game. |

Just listening to Jim's post match interview. A lot of nonsense is said and why is he mentioning Southend going out signing a player? Is that not allowed? |

Should be at least 2-0 down there. Very poor half from us - not the conditions for us to pass it around but we can't play any other way. Hopefully we can create 1 chance and get away lucky with a 1-1 draw. |

Panama aren't unknown - we thumped them 6-1 in Quatar and Ghana haven't even qualified for the upcoming Afcon. Croatia aren't the team they were either. Should be fairly straightforward. Last 16 however we could be playing Mexico in Mexico City. |

The temptation to declare and having 30 mins at the Aussies with the new ball under lights must have been massive - however those last 61 runs in no time at all has swung the game back in England's favour. If we can somehow bat for another hour in the morning - especially see out the 6 overs left with the old ball and put on another 20-30 runs we have a great chance of levelling the series. |

If you are tenant's in a house and there is a problem you dont pay for it - the landlord does. |

You dont need or want that type of player these days? You can't play overly physical - it will be given as a foul and if you carry on you'll just get sent off. |
