20 minutes is all that's left when you strip out the endless action replays, shots of the crowd, the manager doing his nut, interviews with players and managers followed by a studio discussion of a game you've barely seen.
Edit: They kept the action replays in. So it's not 20 minutes of football, it's more like ten.
There's a book called The Anglo-Saxons by Marc Morris. It casts doubt on the idea of a heptarchy, claiming that the seven kingdoms were seven of maybe a dozen or so. It labels kingdoms at various times on an outline map but doesn't show clearly defined borders. It is interesting how not all kingdoms were equal, with some effectively serving a satellites of others.
