Pompey are reported to be confident of unveiling two more new signings before the end of the week - as Matt Clarke's departure appears to loom closer.

One of the arrivals is likely to be Aberdeen winger Gary Mackay-Steven, although the other expected recruit's identity is less clear.

Pompey have completed only one signing so far this summer - with Shrewsbury right-back James Bolton arriving last week.

Meanwhile reports claim Brighton have agreed a fee of around £3.9m for Clarke, although there has been no comment on this from either club.
