TBH they'll struggle to get that against a relegation threatened Rotherham.
Makes me shudder that if we got relegated, what would our attendance be two or three seasons after if the football was uninspiring as theirs reportedly is (even though they are 9th and just outside the playoffs ) | | | |

We've never claimed to be massive or a sleeping giant (and I know Bluey doesn't but a lot of cardiff folk I speak to do....fed by the idiot BBC and WuM). Truth is, both are small/middle sized clubs that attract floaters and theatregoers when successful. Plus those that are happy to buy a season ticket to watch hlf a dozen games,
Also, once you've done the prem, the chumpionshit becomes less appealing than it was on the way up. The only potential upside is that it does give you space to build the next generation with free kids etc.
I shudder to think what our crowd would be if we we weren't challenging top two. Let's hope we don't have to find out. |  |

What I was surprised at when I saw the highlights from the Shrewsbury game was that Cardiff didn't do what the FAW used to do when about 12k of us used to turn up to watch Wales at the end of another failed qualifying campaign. That being, stick everyone in the bottom half of the stand opposite the TV cameras, so at least it doesn't like quite as bad on TV. |  |
