If we hadn't made the agonising suicidal f*ck up of a resigning in Andre "half a good game" Ayew for 20 million we at least would have had some money to spend on some players fit for these battles. I'm worried about the effect of these defeats on our obviously very talented youngsters.

We were saying pretty much the same today. Although the football etc. is refreshing, it does feel like the wilderness at times in the championship with no streams, deserted press conferences, snapshot highlights on Quest on a bloomin Sunday, waning attendances etc.. Yes, I hate losing too. Likewise - the Christmas alcohol stash beckons.

You can see why interest starts to wane if you do not have access week to week to watch your football team especially on the back of two home defeats. The next time I see us kicking a ball is on 15th Dec.

I started to notice a waning on Wednesday.......never mind Groundhog Day. ...........its starting to sink in to fans,,,,,its going to be a long haul

The interest is waning even for people with access. No way was the attendance the official 18k on Wednesday. There were only 5 people in my row and the one behind (short rows mind) - all ST seats except 2. People can’t be arsed if Man U aren’t in town. We’ll be down to the core 13-15k next year as in the year or 2 before we got promoted.

Their choice if they want to waste their ST, but it is affecting the atmosphere already.
