I am sure the Welsh start up firm which had a satellite on board & invested heavily into the project will find it as funny as the Irish forum idiot.

ForgeStar-0 — Is the first ever satellite designed and built in Wales. The ForgeStar-0 satellite has been designed by Cardiff-based startup Space Forge, which is creating the world's first returnable and reusable satellite platform to harness the power of microgravity and potentially transform manufacturing.

There you go Kilkenny, you are laughing at a major loss for a Welsh firm. That's where so much hatred gets you.

Not as such Cat as it would have been insured. Very frustrating yes but not financially. Even satellites launched by NASA or EUSA don’t always make it.

What about the lost time and the money spent on wages and investment in this satellite? You don't get insurance for those, do you?

No, but it is the risk every satellite operator takes. It is by its very nature a high risk business. However the returns are also very high. Don’t forget Forge’s satellite was designed purely for manufacturing research so would return no profit to the company initially.

I’m no expert but deciding to launch in the middle of January in Britain in the wind and rain sounds pretty idiotic to me.

40,000ft up mate with a big eff off two stage thrust nullifies the jet stream. Stage two didn’t perform unfortunately. They’ll get there in the end.

Johnson when there trying to be associated with a Brit Nat triumph.
But it failed, just like Brexit.
Then Sunak ordered that Johnson be air brushed out of the photo.

Is the good old British tax payer paying for these amateurs to keep screwing up…?

This is Brexidiot Britain, fitting Johnson was there to see it fail.
Of course he was.

Why don’t you jump on it next time Kilk and go live somewhere else. I’m sure the Moon hasn’t had a referendum yet.

Who ever thought cancelling the Swansea - Cork ferry was a good idea

No, but as part of it's R&D it is a massive loss. Laughing at a Welsh company's misfortune, given all that Kilky posts, seems a bit daft to me and another sign of the hate he feels for the UK and England.

There are other options. I’m sure we’d get a willing member of this site to drive him to the port. We could even chip in for a one-way ticket.

I am laughing at Boris’s world beating union that appears to enjoy a reality that is somewhat different from that lofty aspiration.

We should be working with European friends, not going it alone.
And it just picks us the US stuff and uses that. If it ever actually gets deployed.

Another costly and public failure. 🚀
