And as for the argument that we mishandled the whole PR aspect of this, I think that is minor compared with appalling nature of the whole incident(s) and the efforts by senior management to initially mislead the panel.

I’m afraid the media hysteria would all have been well predicted if you got caught spying at training grounds on a number of occasions. When you add the semi-final and exclusion from the final to boot, it’s all part of the ramifications of such shameful behaviour.
