A very strange decision. Sacking Vitor Pereria and Edwards in the same season suggests it wasn't the manager that was the problem.
They're replacing him with this bloke Peixoto who has a fairly "poxy" history. Maybe they know something the records don't show as they do have good contacts in Portugal, but Edwards knows how to do well in the Championship, so it seems mad to let him go.
On the plus side for them, they've signed Trippier and Raul Jiminez. |  | | |

I would be very surprised if WHam don’t struggle and find it hard to believe they are so well fancied to go straight back up. With all the shenanigans about the ghastly Sullevan going on, plus the fact that it is clearly a very unhappy and disorganised squad and an extremely disgruntled fanbase, suggests to me that they will be lucky to be in the top 3 although I grant you they could make it into the (enlarged) list of candidates for a play off spot. | | | |

I'd thought they had been very sensible accepting their fate early and getting a proven championship manager and beginning to assemble a championship squad capable of hitting the ground running. Now they've got the same chaos of all the other relegated clubs that sack their manager at the end of the season. | | | |
