Not sure you could say that about Carlton Cole nor Kevin Doyle. Both of whom are likely to be cheap, if not free. Both could do with a fresh start. And they're not too old. Let's face it, Remy and Taarabt are likely to go; Zamora needs an operation that ought to keep him out for at least 6 months; AJ's fitness record is poor and Bothroyd has a year left to show why he managed to skank an England cap.
