Potentially a few games to be re-scheduled

I thought Sunderland would end up with 10 points this season.

If we beat Fulham.....

I hadn't realised that the quarter-finals of the FA Cup are over Easter weekend.

Therefore Ipswich at home (on Good Friday) and Wrexham away (on Easter Monday) would both have to move.

Wrexham away would also have to move if they beat Chelsea in the 5th round.

And this is with Norwich at home still to be re-scheduled.

This could all get very clustered if we beat Fulham.

Thinking we could definitely have done with signing another striker in January to give us more strength in depth.

Rupert Lowe is gunning for PM with his Restore Party

The epitome of someone who is not a football man and doesn’t understand what defines history of football clubs.

Who remembers teams who finish mid-table in the Prem?

What commentator do you dislike the most?

Yes, I thought Brian Moore was really good.

And I liked John Helm.

Gerald Sinstadt was great as well, his commentary of Channon’s goal against Liverpool was class.

Also another mention from me on Clive Tydlesley. I love this commentary of his on Lambert’s goal against Skates in the Cup (we won’t talk about the rest of that game….)

Yeah, we've got a few quite appealing away games either side of that game (Sheff Wed, West Brom, Cov) and people only have so much money.

He may lose his deposit, but he will be coming out with all sorts of stuff which could be highly damaging for Farage.

Leicester appealing against 6-point deduction
at 13:15 19 Feb 2026

Blimey, this could get messy.

Seems that if this is deemed a frivolous appeal, the deduction could be increased.

Why on earth didn't the League sort this out in the summer?

Still, will keep our friends along the coast on edge a bit....

I suspect Farage will live to regret making an enemy of him.

Almost as if Labour have been getting into bed with Lowe, politically speaking.

I'd like to be able to have some sympathy for Arsenal.

But sadly I can't.

They have spent a fortune to be serial chokers.

We're not useless in the second-half of games any more
at 08:28 19 Feb 2026

Anybody else notice this?

Our downturn in form a month or so ago seemed to coincide with second-half collapses.

And now we seem to be getting stronger as games go on, obviously last Tuesday was the classic example.

Maybe it's just that Eckert is getting better at making subs.

Hopefully haven't jinxed things here.

Saints And Pompey Get Heavily Fined For Derby Day Handbags At Dawn

Presumably our fine is higher due to the Coventry home game.

The irony of course being that Skates get away with regular coin throwing by their fans and postponing home games when they get a few injuries.

I rarely watch football on the TV, partly as I have little interest in it, and partly due to the commentators.

Matterface is an arse. ITV should be banned from screening football for sacking the excellent Clive Tydlesley and replacing him with that berk.

Jonathan Pearce is utterly terrible. Has inherited the Motson trait of treating the viewer as if they were a 4 year-old.

Barry Davies was the master. Treated the viewer as a grown-up and more than willing to give a negative opinion with a withering put-down.

Sam Edozie Cah He Play A Part

Definite upgrade on Robinson.

Also an option to play on the right-wing. I do like Fellows, but his end product seems to be becoming increasingly erratic.

Edozie could score a crucial goal or two for us in the weeks to come.

I suspect how many tickets we sell for Fulham will depend on when the game is, with trains looking dicey.

As we have established, quantity does not necessarily equate to quality 😉

Leicester City FA Cup Game Matchday Thread
at 23:26 14 Feb 2026

Don’t know about that.

He very nearly lost us the game in the 90th minute from a corner which he fumbled until Quarshie bailed him out on the goal-line.

He didn’t look good at all to me.

A massive upgrade on Roerslev, a crock who we appear to have spunked £5 million on.

Like Ross Stewart, he is out of contract at the end of the season; think we need to sort that, as Nathan Jones will be all over that.

Ticket details have been released for this.

They have given us a supposed “full allocation” of 2,127 tickets.

How can that be a full allocation?

We took more than that to Stoke for a lunchtime game, so these will go quick.

Can we not get more tickets than that???
