Geez the guy has had no pre season, our best striker last year and top goal scorer, he is a big guy so it's going to take him longer to get match fit,great option as back up, as someone else said give him some slack.

I've always liked Smyth,gives his all every single minute of every game,people forget that he is an old fashioned right winger and actually playing on the right,does my head in with this fad last few years of playing people on the opposite side of their strongest foot and constantly cutting in ,but as a winger throughout the years they are inconsistent, even the best ones,but over the last 6 or 7 weeks his quality has improved and he is definitely an important part of the team now which has in turn helped with confidence.
Yes thankyou a genuine balanced answer and I agree we need balance,criticism when needed and also praise. I personally think Marti deserves more praise than criticism but definitely not beyond criticism when needed but overall I think he is the best manager we have had in awhile.
I've noticed that most of your posts there is always a dig at Marti,especially if we have had a dodgy performance or result, and again today you seem that you can't wait to dig him out even after the run we have been on,I'm just asking do you want a different manager and why you are not having him?Genuine question and just curious.
