It is often forgotten that with the cup games ticket sales start form scratch , whereas a league game has circa 9k season tickets already sold these cup games start from zero. Stick this game in october & yes there would be a larger crowd but nowhere near a full house. Just hoping we can somehow scrape through & get something interesting in the 2nd round away from home like Barnet , Orient , Colchester even Cambridge again which was great fun 2 seasons ago . I agree that the clubs attitude is awful in relation to the cup comps , however when you say that you are sure this year will be no different well i'm not so sure. There are a full 2 weeks after playing the last of the 6 friendly matches & the 1st league game , it would make no sense to have that build up & then have your top players sitting around for 2 weeks not playing any games . As someone has said elsewhere the club should state that this will be a strong 1st team side playing & then the fans could make an informed decision on whether of not to attend. |

https://www.millwallfc.co.uk/n If we are counting visiting paying punters , wall sold out early last week or in other words straight away to fans with a high number of loyalty points therefore QPR are already turning away potential paying supporters . They may have deemed it to be more hassle than its worth but they woud have easily brought 3k over & there is the room to allow that in the school end alone . |

Given your past experiences of Fratton station what are my chances of making the 17:24 train if i leave the ground a tad early ? Any rough idea would be welcome as i have only ever driven to this one & yes booked the 17:24 from Fratton stn on south western , cheers . |

Any team apart from Lincoln City away , would prefer that midweek in the winter as might stand a better chance of getting a ticket for what will (hopefully) be my 100th ground visited following the R's. There has been some work done at Sincil bank but the capacity remains low at around 11 K. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/art |

I agree with this for the night games when a lot of season ticket holders are unable to attend hence the 13/14k night crowds . We can not get any more people in most saturday games as a sell out means no one else can physically get through the door let alone a load of new fans , still you are thinking along the right lines , hopefully you can make a few more home games next season . |

I agree with your point on supporting the local side , however despite some small midweek home attendances of 13/14k we averaged 16,840 with most saturday home games sold out or near our current capacity of just 17,500 so we cant actually get that many more in to Loftus road . |

You are correct , it was 83,337 or in other words 4 thousand short of QPR V Derby play off final attendance of 87,348 which i think holds the record in the new Wembley stadium for any play off final . |

Yes 1 here from deep sarf (Norfolk) Bus replacement between Norwich & Ipswich so will drive 25 mins to Thetford @ 06:15 get the train to Cambridge & change for London there . The very 1st time the R's played at this newer version of the den in 2004 we had both tiers & sold 2875 or thereabouts , by 11am yesterday we had sold 2866 , i reckon that is good going for a silly lunchtime kick off & means it could well be the most we have ever taken over there. Reckon there was a good number at the old den in 72/73 as we got promoted that season but difficult to work out as R's fans appeared scattered round the ground in those days . |

It should be noted that there are some less well off supporters that are only in Y block as its all they can afford , until i got my pension last year i was living on £7.5k a year & the blue catergory pricing meant that my luxury was to travel down from Norfolk for every home game. Even though i can now afford the new price some around me in Y are paying upwards of 2k rent a month & will struggle to renew , a price increase of over double last seasons total (ie 100% would be £524 & it's now £541) is bad enough but it's the pure deception of how they got what they see as "Turkeys voting for christmas" unless its an innocent mistake from the club . For the record i voted in the survey to put it anywhere but Y & thought it's a similar thing as when they sent free seat Pete in Q block to create some atmosphere , it was already lively in Q P & R blocks so they send a drum in , now they claim it will improve the atmospere in Y , erm.... already noisy in there chaps ! |

With regards to going there via Surrey Quays overground i tried to go that way last season but it was engineering work on that line rather than plod stopping us coming that way . So if the line is open you should be fine this time round hopefully . Never had a problem going to the ground via tube or overground but difficult to go back that way after as they send us all to London bridge . |
