Is it really a rumour to say that Adam Le Fondre is not going to Huddersfield?

Well it was a rumour that was circulating courtesy of this morning's Sun newspaper. In addition to a number of boob related puns, it also inspired speculation on both sides of the Pennines after the Sun claimed that our leading scorer from the past two seasons was off to the Galpharm Stadium in a deal worth £150,000 to us.

But no sooner had we got in a twizz over Alfie's departure to Yorkshire, then the whole thing could be forgotten about it after the Huddersfield boss Lee Clark denied all knowledge of such a deal.

He enigmatically told the local Huddersfield rag: "It's news to me. There's nothing in it, that's all I can say".
