Dale boss Keith Hill is back in action this weekend as he leads a number of former Dale players taking place in Heat 8 of the Football Masters competition.

Hilly has been named in the Blackburn squad to take place in the Football Masters this Saturday evening at the Manchester Evening News Arena. He started his career with Rovers before spells at Plymouth, Dale, Wrexham and Cheltenham.

Also taking part this weekend are former players Paul Simpson (Man City), Lee Duxbury (Oldham), Chris Pearce (Burnley) and Andy Farrell (Burnley) in the six team tournement.

Tickets for the event are available at £15 for adults and £10 for concessions, with the first game taking place at 8pm giving you plenty of time to make into Manchester following the friendly game against Blackpool on Saturday afternoon.
