Dyer Uncertain Over Southampton Future Friday, 10th Apr 2009 19:59 Nathan Dyer once again has things in common with his parent club - they are uncertain over their future Things at Southampton have taken a turn for the worse as thei holding company is in administration prompting fears over their future beyond this season. And Dyer admits that it also means that his own personal future is yet to be decided and he told the Evening Post "The manager has said he wants me to stay and as far as I knew it was down to the two chairmen. "The Chairman at Southampton has gone now so it's not easy. I think Southampton are trying to find a buyer at the moment so I'm probably one of the last things on the club's mind. "It would be nice for me to know whats happening but all I know at the moment is I'll be going back to Southampton unless something is sorted out. I'll have to review things in the summer, speak to a few people, and then see what happens. "I haven't been in contact with Southampton. The manager said a few things about me but I haven't spoken to him. In fact I haven't really heard anything since I went on loan to Sheffield United. I'm just going to keep going and keep doing what I'm doing until the ned of the season. "I have got another couple of years on my Southampton contracrt but I like this club a lot. Coming to Swansea City has helped me develop. "I would hate to see Southampton go down. It's the club where I started my career and they brought me through the ranks I'm very grateful for that. "It's sad to see where there are both financially and in the Championship table. Hopefully they can get things sorted out both on and off the pitch. "I still have mates at Southampton and I want to see the club do well." Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
