![]() Saturday, 7th Aug 2010 20:46 Brendan Rodgers gives his reaction to the opening day defeat at Hull "We had good control of the game until the goal which you have to say was a wonderful strike," said Rodgers. "It was very difficult to defend against even if we were a little bit disappointed to give the ball away and the second one we're disappointed with as it came from the corner. "But saw a lot of good things at a ground where no-one expected us to win against a team who have just come down from the Premier League. "We didn't create too many clear cut chances but it's something we're looking to improve on as a club and will address before now and the end of August. "There was a lot of pleasing things; We had good control but it's about both boxes and that's something we will work on in the months ahead."
