Midfielder George Moncur will remain at Colchester United until January, after his loan from West Ham was extended.

The 20-year-old has spent the whole of pre-season with the U's, after signing on a one-month loan last month, and made eight friendly appearances scoring one goal.

It's likely that he'll take squad number 24 as he wore this throughout the pre-season campaign.
