Saints Make Espanyol Game Affordable For Everyone
Wednesday, 15th Jul 2015 09:18

Saints have announced the ticketing details for their home friendly with Espanyol and it should be within everyone's pockets.

The problem with the premier league today is that most club's have continued to increase their prices despite the riches paid to even the lowest club increasing dramatically and continuing to do so.

So it is good to see that Saints are making the visit of Espanyol on Sunday August 2nd for a friendly, a price that should enable all to go.

Adult tickets are only £10, with £5 for concessions, £4 for under 17's and only £2 for under 11's.

But it gets better if these tickets are bought in conjunction with a ticket for the home leg of the forthcoming Europa league game, then these prices will halve.

That would mean that supporters who go with their children could be able to see both this friendly and Europa league action for a very cheap price.

Saints as much as anyone have increased their prices for Premier league games at a high level in recent seasons and although not increasing them over the past two years have not decreased them either meaning that St Mary's has not been as full as it should have been. It is good to see that tickets for these games are slashed so that fans priced out of the Premier league can attend, not to mention attracting the younger generation.

Saints fans should hopefully respond and show the club the demand is there if the price is right

Pity these tickets are not on sale right now, it's only three weeks away and I want to plan my life and holidays
