Fourth Official >>> Chris Knowles, Northants Previously This is Sutton’s first QPR appointment, but he has been in charge of our visitors on a few occasions. He was in charge for Port Vale’s 3-2 home win against Barnsley in League One in January 2006, booking one, a 2-2 draw at Huddersfield in March 2007, four booked, and a 4-3 defeat at Brentford a month later when the hosts were awarded a penalty and scored in the final minute. Last season he had them for a 2-1 win at Grimsby when Vale’s Robert Taylor was sent off, and a 3-1 home win against Dagenham in April. Stats Sutton had a two season break from the league refereeing list, during which time he refereed non-league and ran the line in the Football League, including appointments in the play offs.
