I haven't checked but I'm sure that I read somewhere that Chesterfield was favorites to go up,they must have splashed out some cash for them to entice Sheridan from Carlisle last season,Carlisle was doing well at the time and Chesterfield in the bottom of the league below,we will be lucky to make the playoffs but it's down to who ends up buying us | |

To be honest, parked there once with my grandad, just googled it & christ, 7th Jan 1990, Utd were beaten 1-0 by forest in the FA Cup, crossed over a bridge I remember and everyone at your ground was very friendly. Was brought up man & boy a Utd fan. Moved to Rochdale in 2000, live about a mile from the ground & someone in a local pub gave me a ticket for a game, changed allegencies over a few years & now a family of Dale supporters.

Forests opposition support is usually housed at our ground pre match due to it being a five minute walk away from the City Ground and can accommodate a fair few in the bars thus keeping them altogether,did you go inside for a pint beforehand? The bridge that you crossed was Trent Bridge and a two minute walk from the cricket ground
