Shareholders agreed on the takeover in September, but the deal was stalled,, pending security concerns and other matters, including the composition of board members, guarantees regarding jobs in the UK, location of HQ and guarantees on future sales of the company (or parts of it).
As I read it, all these matters have been sorted to the satisfaction of all parties and the deal has been ratified.

Brexit isn't the issue here; the Tories sold off the family silver when we were in the EU, they are selling it off now as we're leaving the EU, they will sell off any remaining after we've left the EU - in fact they will sell it off anytime there's a US private equity group tickling their tummy. | |
