While it's a neat idea and has clearly done well, it appears to have been the brainchild of Burger King and come pretty much gift-wrapped to Stevenage, so it's more credit to BK in my view.
Stevenage deserve credit for going with it and being open to the proposal, but I'm more interested in who turned it down before them and why: I can see why clubs might be concerned by the perception of teaming with a fast-food brand. |  | | |
