Pleased for him- an 18 month deal where I'm sure he'll be getting more opportunities. I think it's a shrewd move by Bentley. He was very solid during EEL's prolongued spell out last season but wouldn't feel completely convinced if he had to deputise for 5/6 games this season. I'm sure we will bring someone in to replace him over the next few days. Wish him all the best.

Have reservations about the pool of players out there that we could draw from to get cover. Surely Beckwith is I presume still way off being ready. He would be the one in the squad I could see slotting in there.
