"Matty Done absolutely loves coming from behind, like any man does"

All the directors howling with laughter. Classic.

The analysis of the way Done played the position so well before he stared over-analysing the role was really interesting. As was his thoughts on 3-5-2 (people forget Morecamve away!) and the explanation of using Bennett at the end if the season when changes needed to be made.

Give him a tactics hour with Gary Neville on Sky.

Would anyone be kind enough to give a brief summary for us exiles please?

442 was making copious notes in red biro, so I'm sure he'll write something up shortly.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Some highlights which others will no doubt expand on:

Hill optimistic about a successful season and trusts the players he has. May make a couple
of additions.

On Muldoon: disappointing we haven't had the chance to see him in pre season but he got injured in the first week. Hopefully training later this week and possibly available in a couple of weeks.

Rhys Bennett's ability to play different roles will be a bonus. Really impressed when he came into the side at the end of the season after the Mansfield/Southend defeats.

Done at LB and Rose ahead of him allowed Henderson to play the no.10 role - the change played to everyone's strengths eg. Done's pace, Rose's passing.

He was probably designing some new training tops.

Morgan has gone back to Yeovil.

He would like to sign Fox, but he needs to fit into our wage structure.

I don't think he's asking for anything yet, but he has been playing in the Premier League and Championship so Hill knows what sort of money he will have been previously earning.

I wouldn't have thought he'd have been asking for anything yet, he's merely saying that he has played at high levels, and he needs to be realistic in his expectations wage wise, if he wants to stay, Hill won't overspend on anyone.

Hilly Quote on 10:24 - Aug 5 with 1900 viewsBartRowou

On Hery: great player; Hill sees what the fans see; however, he has to stop the "circus act" (too many lollipops/not enough positional sense) otherwise he's a liability.

On McCourt: "Relegation with goals"

On Henderson's sending off at Bury: ref agreed three weeks later that he got it wrong

On training facilities: Andrew Kelly mooted the idea of the club instigating a technical school which would have suitable facilities for training (but not during PE).

On the youngsters: he'll be trying to integrate them into the squad this year so that this time next year, they'll be a full part of it. Rates them all and they're part of the reason why Cav was released.

On floodlights: we've been granted a temporary reprieve because the Premier League have to have all their bulbs changed so we'll have to wait our turn. I think Colin said their (the Premier League teams) power has to be increased fourfold to accommodate Sky. Ours doesn't have to be so strong.
