The MEN/Rochdale Ob plunged new depths this week by using quotes from the Sky 92Live thing. Actually watching tv/a website and then sticking the interview they've seen in the paper is quite staggering. |  |

Absolutely.
Yesterday was the first game of the season and although the effect of the Observer has diminished over the years, it is still being published and as such, should take more pride in what it produces.
To have the season preview containing a few words from the Chief Exec about the pitch and something brief from the assistant manager was awful, especially when the writer simply copied what was said on Sky on Tuesday afternoon.
