Thompson has never been good enough to start games for us, never mind post cancer.. rathbone pn the wing is a no from me and n’thle getting back in the side is sending shudders down my spine.

I would keep the system for away games, because it keeps the defence tighter and for Saturday, and with Dobre reported missing due to International duties, I would go for -

However at home the system does not work, because it is to defensive and we are effectively operating with one up front and I would go for a 4-4-2 at home to give us a more attacking edge
