Compliments to our groundsman 21:26 - Jan 12 with 1798 viewsonedalefan

Have just caught up on the FLS from last night. Having seen the state of numerous pitches, even on Championship grounds (Charlton 2 games postponed in a row), I feel we owe a huge thanks to our ground staff for how good our pitch is at this time of the year.

Was thinking that last night. Our pitch is top class at present.

Strangely, for once I think the weather round here has also been ok compared to a lot of areas.

I think that the Club have been wise in spending hard earned money on pitch maintenance such as the summer drainage jobby.

This must help Ollie and his merry men in their daily chores.

Yes,really well done.

I'll tell you whose pitch is a disgrace - MK Dons.

For a new stadium with money having been spent on increasing its capacity, World Cup bids, etc, the pitch seems to have been neglected.

In fact, it looks more untidy than Winkleman!

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
