It wont affect next Saturdays game, true..........but it can't do any harm. Carlisle lost their unbeaten record just before they played us so could be a good omen. |  |

Bell's first 'senior' goal, I think, but, not quite 20, he's still got a bit of time to improve.
I'd expect Barrow's first defeat since 20 Aug to have some - admittedly impossible to measure - impact on the players. But they do have a full week to prepare for Dale's visit, and I'd guess the match is important enough for them to have been watching Dale since the draw was made (equally, assume Dale will be getting an analysis of today's game at Gateshead).
Before concentrating on Barrow, Dale have to prepare for Walsall. Will Hilly change a winning side to give some players a rest?

In last nights interview he hinted at changes on Monday. He thought energy levels were a bit below usual - but said it was only to be expected with the games we've had recently. | |
