The Final Saturday 07:47 - Apr 30 with 1904 viewsfrenzied

With the Dale game being a dead rubber..anyone off to see a game elsewhere?

Im off to Macc to see them play Cambridge, hopefully to keep them in the league..sorry Chalky.

Id prefer Pompey and Sunderland to stay in League 1 purely for the revenue their visit brings.

Cant see Luton falling at the final fence but their opponents Oxford are on a great run.

Massive game for Pompey tonight - they need a win to put pressure on Luton and Barnsley. Peterborough look like they've blown their play off chances losing at Walsall but you never know. As for Saturday Im off to bury...
do a bit of shopping.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

Admit it - you just want to use that parking space one more time?

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

Seeing as it is just up the road for me in comparison to the home games I will be heading up to South East London. The leagues are still looking interesting though coming to the end of the season.

I shall be heading to Swindon for probably our last game in the football league for a few seasons,I never thought that it would come to this but it's what we deserve as we have been constantly bad all season,I can see us winning on Saturday but there's no way that Cambridge are going to win away from home at Macclesfield but I do hope that you out of the ground disappointed at 5pm frenzied

It's been a great season for Dale,I don't want to sound bitter but league one is probably your ceiling and avoiding relegation should be your main objective, look at the club's that are in there with you and you see that it's a great achievement just to stop up and whats more you will be two leagues above Notts on the tenth anniversary of the season that can't be mentioned, that's got to be satisfying hasn't it?

Poll: Do you now think that Notts have suffered enough since Munto?

As you say, it's satisfying to be in League One. A quick scan of the Conference teams (and even lower), tells you how many teams have slipped through the net. Some will never return, some have struggled. Orient have returned. It's a swamp down there and to think we are still competing in League One is a remarkable achievement.

Ipswich and Bolton coming down.

Still, if you plunge through the trap door, you'll have plenty of familiar opponents to look forward to next season.

Fair play Chalky you came as close as any Notts cheaty of admitting your guilt but console yourself that you will be in good company in the abyss with other cheats like Stockport you have a lot in common, now rearrange these letters O F C K O U H A Y F L C , see you next season you are always welcome on here.

A bit harsh there but needed saying.

Sorry about the plight your team has found itself in,Chalky but as Keith often said after 46 games you are bottom of the League then that is were you deserve to be.
I'm not one to gloat like some others on here because I am old enough to know that there have been many times in the past were had automatic relegation been the norm"back in the day" we would probably be making trips to places like Workington for our away days.

Hopefully if Notts C do go down Chalky. They won't go the same way as Accrington (not Stanley)

It's Sunday, so doesn't strictly count towards the Final Saturday alternative, but off to watch the g/fs nephew again Sunday. He's played three cup finals on the bounce in various leagues the last three weekends for Ducky u16s - drew 4-4 but lost 6-5 on pens in the first against Uppermill, played Chaddy Park u17s and beat them 8-1 last Sunday and play an u18 side this Sunday - toughest match up of the three apparently. He was on the books at Bolton for a while and a very decent midfielder.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!
