If it's just about stats, that'd have us on course for a comfortable mid-table finish over a season, but with an horrendous goal difference for a team in that position (but still an improvement on last season's -33)
Those stats are meaningless in our current situation unfortunately we cant use points from last season. The only stats that mean anything are
P33 W9 D6 L18 F36 A56 (-20) Pts33.
To add a bit of perspective Tranmere's form has been abysmal all season they have looked doomed from the start in any other season they would be anchored at the bottom of the league yet with 13 games to go (14 for them) they are seven points adrift of us with a game in hand. We play Rotherham next Tranmere play Accrington then Blackpool before we play each other. Should the unthinkable happen and they win their game in hand and beat us a week next Tuesday they will be one point below us also if they get anything more than we do tomorrow against Accrington or Blackpool then we are in very very serious trouble.
