Incredible..

It will not always come off but what a positive way to approach a test.

Score 400+ first innings.

Concede a first innings lead.. (West Indies credit where its due)

I know score another400+ runs second innings...

Bowl out West Indies cheap and win at a canter. England must be a nightmare to play against!.

This West Indies side obviously not cut out for 5 days of intense Test Match Cricket.

Woeful at Lords.

More than decent first innings this time around and showed some fight. Then capitulation. England ruthless no complaints there but there will be much tougher tests later this summer and then a really big test that i am looking forward to next winter.

England 400+ Both Innings I am sure that is another first - certainly in the modern age. They look like they are really buying into the attacking form of test cricket.

I guess this 3-0 loss can be placed in some distant memory bank and forgotten about.

I agree 4 weeks of additions to the squad and training together will see vast improvement.

The only result that really matters is the one on the 10th August at the Jakemans Community Stadium home of Boston United.

Boston also lost on Saturday 2-1 away to the mighty Spalding United.

I expect Fleetwood and Macclesfield to be equally as experimental, lets hope we have some semblance of a competitive side when we play Carlisle on the 27th.

Whilst a great result for England it was a terrible test match.

How far have the West Indies fallen they looked out of there depth at Lords.

All over by lunch on Day 3. West Indies Hammered, England win by an Innings and 114 runs.

8 full sessions now vacant. This is not what we want to see in the remaining tests.

I guess you can only play (and beat) what's put in front of you.

West Indies second innings 53/4 still trail by 197.

This could be a 3 innings 2 day test at this rate.

I would be gutted if i had paid for a Friday (Day3) Ticket!!!

I agree Brexit has not been helped by the Ukraine / Russia war.. Covid and to some extent the Suez Canal / Now its Yemen Houthi Pirates..

I accept as a nation we voted for it and we must crack on.

Personally i am worse off because of it (maybe partially but including it).

Working for a UK Manufacture that relies on component parts from all over Europe and the far east Brexit has put lots of red tape and strains on the business that are big concerns for our senior management team.

I am not convinced by Starmer at all but he has his chance now lets see what he can do for the nation (Cant be any worse)

Elsie is my new MP now and she looks to have the bit between her teeth long may that continue for good of the area and her constituents.

Brexit has been a disaster.. Collectively we voted for it. Sadly will be several years to recover from the impact of it.

Just seen that Elsie Blundell has won Heywood / Middelton North that includes Spotland, Norden, Bamford.

Good Luck to her maybe we will see Paul and Elsie together in the future at Spotland for a game.

Uchegbulam and John both moving on frees up more wages.

Big Jim shape shift can carry on inside what will be the new 24/25 budget.

There just is a feel of structured re-build rather than lurch from pillar to post.

I think there is a decent footballer in there somewhere (Jez) its a shame we could not unlock the potential.
