I have looked at the data.
It is indeed 27 to 20.
HOWEVER.....
The last time we were below the average was in 1962, and that was by a mere 124 people below the average.
The Skates were last below the average in 2013, and that was by 2,112 people.
They were also below the average in the following years:-
1999
1998
1997
1996
1995
1990
1982
1979
1978
1977
1976
1975
1973
1972
1971
So in 16 of the last 50 years, the Skates have been below the League average. Whereas we have not been for 58 years.
A clear victory for Saints over the last two generations.

We have been watch by millions more, this is a fact. One website source says 2.6 million more, when 130 tried to discredit this figure ( a figure from a website he then later uses as his supporting evidence, work that one out) the best he could do was come up with a another number which showed us being watched by over 1m more people depsite have played over 100 fewer games.
Unfortunately this is yet another own goal for our favourite canadian skate. |
Both sites are rather similar, you just aren't very clever
The difference in league games for your site is only 805,000, so even with 20 years cheating figures, and Pompey under counting for maybe 50 years due to dodgy owners is minimal, and in fact we still beat you on average gates for FA cup games. | |

What a pathetically futile existence he leads. Every day he tries to convince fans on here that Little Pompey are a bigger and better team than Saints and every day he fails.
He hasn't convinced a single person and he still doesn't realize he never will. Instead, the opposite has happened: his obsession just proves how much in our shadow they are. If he really believes they are that great he should try going to one of their games.

Think about it, an owner has an opportunity to make big bucks out of clubs by just under reporting the attendance, no tickets to verify it, just cash, and that was when the crowds could be huge. Pompey were one of the worse clubs, but we didn't realise that the Southampton Attendance Mafia would be get off on it for decades afterwards.
