Pull the trigger now. And get Brendan in 😂😂. Joking aside, we need to be aiming higher now. If this club has the ambitions they say they are aiming for then Sheehan is not the answer.

This is where I’m torn. Results wise, 17 points from 14 games is nowhere near acceptable. We probably spent more in the summer than we have in the last 5 seasons combined and that wasn’t to play uninspiring and unsuccessful football.
But, there has been an obvious improvement in the last 2 league games plus Man City. I think we were genuinely unlucky not to get more out of last night and Charlton. I can’t see why it has taken him so long to start playing this way, but I’d be reluctant to change it now he looks on the verge of getting it right.
I do believe we will win more than we lose playing like that.

even if that was an option it would take a hell of a lot of cash to bring him here again and he would want a lot of investment that we could not provide under the current rules not going to happen for now

And cash we don’t have to waste mate.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
As expected the pull the trigger now option is in the minority. I think he has changed our shape and needs a little time to see how this develops, so definitely not sack him now. The give him more time and the January window is just a loaded option to try and get the poster the result he wants. Lose on Saturday and the pressure on Sheehan will increase, but I still think he needs at least a month after we return from the international break. Give him until February and the January window certainly not we need to see an improvement long before then.

Give him until February and that is another season completely gone. That's another few months of selecting a new manager mid-season at best getting the new incumbent 10 games to work out what he has got. It takes us into another summer of recruitment where the owners are wondering what they got for their money? The club doesn't have a bottomless pit of money. A lot has been spent on new signings as the owners wanted to show they mean business. Will they do the same next season after a summers investment results on a 17th place finish? Spend another fortune on highly rated loanees that sit on the bench? Let's wait until February when there's nothing left to play for,?

Why I said it was not a sensible option. TBH I don't know why it was ridiculously put as one of three options.

I think Sheehan has shown that he can do it and for whatever reason it's just not happening at the moment. It seems to me that he has almost too many options and either can't decide what to stick with or needs to give game time to too many similar options. There is no consistency in lineup and now in formation. We have an abundance of players in midfield, mediocrity in attack and a very weak link at right back. Something needs to change. He might need to move things in his backroom before he ends up losing his own job.

He could ease the pressure Find alternative at right back Include Samuel’s Smith before he gets recalled Don’t waste the talent of Galbraith Same with Widdell Do not play Cullen but give young Wales a go Abandon smart arse sideways passing Get forward at dpeed , as we can do this well but clearly it’s not encouraged Galbraith has a lethal shot on him but it’s wasted Widdell is a box to box player so front him as such Sheehans problems are of his own making and he doesn’t need cuddles from the better fan types There is real talent there n this squad

I think we have a top 6 squad. Our midfield is as good as anyone's. We need to find more goal scorers from the squad
this is the area that needs to improve, if we score more perhaps the "out" people would not be so loud? this manager is till learning and people need to be realistic the squad is new as well, we were NEVER going to be at the top at this time of the season, and whilst not happy at our current position there is still lots of time, but as i said at the start we need more goals for

I expect the poll to change dramatically if we lose tomorrow.

As it stands people want Sheehan to stay until the January window.
Not sure why though, the Club have spent quite a bit this summer so are they saying that they trust AS to spend more Club money without improving our situation right now.
