| Hull Reflection 17:20 - Nov 22 with 9443 views | bluenwhite10 | I feared the worse today when we went behind twice, but the team showed real character coming from behind. Soft goals to let in, Clarke-Salter not showing enough strength for second and Hamer should not of been beaten at the near post. That’s the negatives out the way as we had far more positives. Created lots of opportunities, quality balls into the box today. Lots of good performances today but MOM today Chair | | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 17:25 - Nov 22 with 5720 views | StreathamRanger | Chair was fantastic. Credit to Dembele too who was much better today. Varane sorted himself out in the second half and played well. New keeper an absolute must in January. Their keepers save from Kolli was outstanding | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 17:30 - Nov 22 with 5644 views | BrazilNutR | Came off from playing 7 a side, and looked at the score after 35 minutes, seeing us 0-1 down, with an XG of 1.3 and Hull had an XG of 0.09... and had to laugh. But good to see we actually turned it round, and scored a few goals. Good win in the end! well done | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 17:41 - Nov 22 with 5522 views | Paddyhoops | Much better today. Stop conceding soft goals and we can challenge. Chair outstanding today . Dembele not far behind. | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 17:51 - Nov 22 with 5373 views | Wegerles_Stairs | Really enjoyed that even though I'm wet right through. Yes, thought that Chair and Dembele were fantastic - Kader just needs to work on his shooting as he must have gone to the Jordan Hugill Soccer School. | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 17:54 - Nov 22 with 5355 views | kensalriser | I thought Kolli should have scored that but fumbled the ball and then made the wrong choice in placing it over powering it, which gave the keeper time to anticipate. | |

It was. As was his overall performance. Why can't we have a keeper like that?

Was sat right behind it. It got a bit stuck under his feet which left him unable to generate a huge amount of power. He placed it well and the keeper made a brilliant save.
| Hull Reflection on 18:10 - Nov 22 with 5099 views | Ned_Kennedys | Thought both full backs did well today and weren’t afraid to get forward to attack. Hope we are going all out to sign Norrington-Davies in n January: despite everyone having low expectations the guy is a solid 7/10 every week and Wilder clearly doesn’t rate him as he hardly played for them the last few years. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| Hull Reflection on 18:22 - Nov 22 with 4967 views | stevec | Most enjoyable game of football this season. We attacked well but Hull are probably the ideal opposition for us, they come at you, are one of the shortest sides and play to the rules. As such, Dembele, Chairs best games by some distance. We have some decent players but they need to adjust against less cavalier sides | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 18:23 - Nov 22 with 4967 views | BlackCrowe | Chair excellent throughout...so good to see him play like this again. It was a great game all round, particularly the second half. But mein gott the weather was biblical in the East Paddock. | |

| Hull Reflection on 18:33 - Nov 22 with 4867 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Odd game, though very entertaining which is what most of us want. Way, way to passive on the press, which considering the players we have is strange. Soft as shyte goals to concede, yet again, which is becoming the norm worryingly. Thought Dambele was excellent. He can now go inside with Mbengue overlapping and do much more damage. Great to see Morgan and Kolli back and actually being allowed on the pitch. I do like Morgan at RB. And Chair. Superb, and starting to be back to his best. 1 goal, 2 assists. Rubbish isn't he! No doubt JS will make 5/6 changes Wednesday. FFS. | |

| Hull Reflection on 18:51 - Nov 22 with 4708 views | numptydumpty | I hope we keep the same starting line up for thenext couple of games. Kone and Burrel were both forward as opposed to Kone playing behind Burrell which worked and delighted to see Kolli coming on and playing well. Frey is a bench option when we have a few injuries and thats all i feel for him now. Both Chair and Dembele were outstanding throughout. But Chair, in particular had a fantastic game. All energy and linked the play so well. Great to see him score too. Brilliant also for Jimmy to score his first of the season and i hope it gives him the boost he also needs as I feelas a captain, he could lead by his example. i also have to say seeing Mbengue at right back and his pace at times is great and running with the ball and linking up with Dembele worked very well also. Madsen was decent throughout and i felt Varane had a very good second half after seemingly pass every ball backwards in the first half. Hamer , yes he should have saved the first, but he has not played for 18 months and got us the draw at Sheffield with two outstanding saves and as a fill in goalkeeper for me, i have no complaints. i think we will get someone in January, but a lot of the cristicism of Hamer today was very unfair for me. Similarly with JCS. He played 60 minutes. Lets see how long he lasts but a fit JCS adds to our options. For me, an excellent performance all round. But we have to keep this form more consistently. If Poku is coming back also who knows. Two dodgy away games later, who knows. Stick with what worked today Julien please !!!! | |

| Hull Reflection on 18:55 - Nov 22 with 4658 views | Lanhoop | That was fun, apart from Hull passing back and forth in their defence for hours on end. It’s no wonder their possession number was high. They were Dull for long periods. Chair was absolutely outstanding. His defensive work was nearly as good as his forward efforts. | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 18:58 - Nov 22 with 4622 views | karlski | Super win with character. Poor goals to concede - JCS rusty on his return - but many more positives. What I like about this squad and the way we're trying to play is there is good attacking movement off the ball, players making runs forward and generally being in threatening areas. This has been lacking in previous squad iterations. And we have more than one player who can carry the ball forward well, at pace. Make us a little more open but nice to watch and, though we go through some dry spells, there is usually a scoring threat about us. Kolli both unlucky (decent effort, fab save) but also to get to the next level he has to figure out how to turn that situation into a goal. Not a knock on him, he has all the ability, it's just next phase of development. So much more to offer than Frey (respect to Michy, don't mind him at all in the right scenario, but not as much impact as Kolli). | | | |
| Hull Reflection on 19:10 - Nov 22 with 4512 views | qpr_1968 | after 15 minutes they sussed us out. 10 minutes after they scored, backs against the wall... from then untill half time we dominated...in my opinion.. second half....good old fashioned game in which we won against the run of play.... 3 points i dont care how we got it, but we did....roll on norwich.... | |

How on earth did you see that we won againat the run of play. If it was based on the run of play, we won comfortably. Far more dangerous than Hull throughout for me. You are entitled to your opinion 1968 , of course, but not sure what game you were watching today. Anyhow we won and played well too. It will do for me. [Post edited 22 Nov 19:17]

Our XG was 3.6, theirs was 1.1. We were much the better team. Deserved the win.

Agree it was a strange game. Hull will be kicking themselves not to take something from the game after twice being up. They had us on the edge of our pants every time they attacked but they didn't close it out at all. I thought everyone did quite well, and yes Chair was buzzing around and linking things together well. Kone mis-placed a lot of passes. I think he was a little unlucky. But on a zippy pitch like that and when we are trying to spring some quick moves in the final third, Kolli has to be the better option. Surprised no Vale anywhere in the match day squad but I suppose not all 7 of our play-makers can play when 5 are in the team or on the bench. Glad to see JD back at CB and AM at RB. That's a much better combination given their relative strengths.

Against run of play is a crazy statement! They scored with their only 2 shots inside 51 minutes! QPR - Hull Expected goals (xG) 3.62 - 1.11 Total shots 26 - 8 Shots on target 8 - 4 Big chances 5 - 3 Well deserved win, just what we needed to stop the slump

Like Norrington-Davies at LB, very solid, wonder if we can sign him. Burrell is proving a very important player for us and nicking those vital goals.
