It will be chaos. And all this when many double jabbed fans could turn up with the Omicron variant anyway and get in. Plus all the fake passes and tests that arn't checked when the the tests are done. Waste of time and money. And on that note, will SFC employ the hundreds of stewards needed to check every fan? Or will it be a complete farce?

I do wonder how small clubs like Portsmouth will be able to afford the extra stewarding to administer this correctly.

Poll: Does anybody think Saints can get promoted this season?

Tiny clubs like that don't have many fans attend, so it's not really an issue for them.

Here's what will happen;

seeing as several PL teams currently have covid in their camps (and more will follow), games will be called off all over the place in the coming weeks. Fans attending games will help spread this new variant throughout the bars, pubs & grounds like wildfire too.

The FA will postpone the season in January for... three - maybe four weeks. Clubs will then be playing games every Saturday/Wednesday for the rest of the season until the season ends. Fans will probably be banned again too.

Mark my words.

Or grounds will be restricted to 8000 socially distanced fans or no fans at all for a little while. It's building up isn't it, with clubs unable to play fixtures, and talk of Omicron disaster.

It'll be good to see the freedom fighting tories squirm at their own parties insistence of this, won't stop them voting for them, no holidays, no footie, work from home, da da da da I'm lovin' it.
