This shows up the wider problem under SR. Players were bought in with the expectation that they would become premiership players and be playing for Real Madrid in three years' time.
They only saw SFC as a stepping stone, having seen the talent and class we have created over the years.
Each was playing for himself, not the team, so there was little or no teamwork and neither the players nor those developing their prodigious talents were up to the job.
