He rarely moves outside the centre of the pitch and if you watch him react to real or possible crosses, he's always the last. Worse, he can't play with another striker because he doesn't win enough in the air and when he does get the odd one, nobody knows where it might go. A partner up front will be as lost as we are. I remember George Lawrence. He was equally predictable in his position but once he had the ball, nobody - not even him I suspect - knew what would happen next. Mara if he does get the ball is always going to turn toward goal and look to shoot. Easy pickings for a defender. Why have the coaches not tried to get him to do something else? Or have they tried but he refuses to learn? Until he can learn something and contribute, we'd be better off loaning him out somewhere like Eastleigh or Totton because that's his level.

Mara wouldn’t get a game for Eastleigh with Alfie Lloyd banging them in.

...ah the days of that defence splitting through ball early on in the season when it looked like we'd bought a boy genius... I agree, even against Lincoln he was anonymous.
