A good, balanced summary. I agree we have good strength in depth, and the potential for a really good first eleven - now it's up to the coaching team to get the best out of them.

The missing link, however, is not a striker IMO, but an attacking midfielder who can score regularly, and play that telling pass.
VvD is still crucial to our finishing position, get him right, and we can build.

Great location stuff 'though Andy, I spent most of the time trying to work our where you were standing exactly and watching passers by completely unaware that their movements were being recorded for posterity. I hope somebody's wife / husband wasn't in the wrong place at the wrong time.

By the way, lighten up a bit lads a bit more humour and less taking yourselves so seriously wouldn't go amiss. It's only bloody football not how to pay the rent or keep the leech meter fed.
