Saints All Fit For The Visit Of Liverpool
Thursday, 15th Aug 2019 21:40
Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed that he has no injury worries ahead of the game against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
The Saints boss has also spoken of how he also has Kevin Danso in the squad:
“We tried to put push the [Burnley] game away at the beginning of the week, cancelled the day off, tried to analyse and work in our minds that from Tuesday on we can focus on the new game,” Hasenhüttl said.
“The challenge is big enough so it’s useful to take all the energy we have and focus on this game.
“So far we have not (got any injury problems). We have worked very hard in the last two days. Today we had a lighter session, they were a little bit tired today because we have worked hard but no injuries so far.”
Saints have had an intense week as the Austrian manager looks to rally the troops to try and beat a Liverpool side who lost only once in the Premier League last season, that being back on 3rd January when they visited eventual Champions Manchester City.

Matches of Yesteryear - Crewe v U's 21/4/14 by wessex_exile
Yesterday was Alfie’s 15th birthday, so I was delighted that the random match generator has selected a game that is an important part of our life together following the U’s. I therefore make no apologies about the focus I will place on this game – I hope it brings you as much pleasure as it did me.

Apologies all, it’s been quite a hectic week at work so this one had to wait until today I’m afraid. I’m off to the New Lawn after this, so looking forward to seeing Noah and anyone else when I get there.
